I wish to thank Vincent and Gaelle for using my services to purchase their wedding invitations. They turned out beautifully and the wedding was just as beautiful. The wedding took place at a small church in Winston, Ga. The couple wrote their own vows. Gaelle is from Haiti, so she recited her vows in French as well.
Photographer, Brandon Wiggins, did an outstanding job on their photo story. Check him out!!!
Vincent and Gaelle, I wish you the best!!!

Joan and Kevin's Wedding 06/06/09

Joan and Kevins beautiful wedding took place on June 6, 2009. This couple was awesome to work with. Very easy going, they knew what they wanted, which made helping them plan their wedding very easy and enjoyable.
The couples wedding took place at First United Methodist Church in Stockbridge Georgia. The Reception was held at the Commons on Fort McPherson.
The day started out about noon leaving from my home office in douglasville to Fort McPherson to check on deliveries and set up by the Floral Designer, Larry Hammack of Foxgloves and Ivy ,
the set up crew of Event Drapery, BBJ Linen and We Rent Atlanta. Everything looked great until Larry brought to my attention that the tables were not set up according to Kevin's sketch. So Larry and I moved tables. We were sure Kevin would have noticed that things were not right so we made it right.
2:00 I'm leaving Ft. McPherson and headed downtown to the Georgian Terrace where the bridal party was getting dressed and I delivered bridal bouquets to the ladies and pinned boutonnieres on the groomsmen who were taking pictures on the roof of the Georgian Terrace!!!. The look on Joan's face when she saw her bouquet was unforgettable and the wonderful photographer, Marisa, from Springfield Photography captured it all. It was awesome. Well, everything is running smoothly at the hotel and Joan's make up is flawless.
3:30 The limo is on time and waiting to transport the bridal party to the church in Stockbridge. I'm on my way and arrive at the church at 4:00. Everyone is on time, YES!!! Flowers are in place. I have the aisle runner and put it in place. I let the bridal party know that I have snacks for them. That's when I became important. Boy were they hungry!!!!
5:00 I get everyone ready for line up, from the parents to the bride and her brother, who gave her away.
At exactly 5:30 the bride begins walking down the aisle to Simone, the soloist, singing "At Last". I can breath a little now.
When the ceremony is over, the rest of the photos are taken and I'm cleaning up in the church making sure we aren't leaving anything behind. When the photos are finished, I collect all floral arrangements and rentals and load them into my SUV and transport them to The Commons on Ft. McPherson's.
7:00 Reception. Thankfully, I was greeted by some of the groomsmen and Marilyn from Calvin's Music. I think they saw the tired look on my face, but I was still calm, cool, and collected. The guests were helping themselves to the pre-function buffet. Once we were ready to get the guests seated at their assigned tables, we could open the doors of the ballroom. It was fit for a queen, absolutely breathtaking.
The cake was in place, the buffet beautiful and ready, the music playing softly in the background and the guests are in awe of the beauty.
I announce the bridal party and Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Hills and they all eat, drink and are merry and taking pictures....just fabulous!!
10:30 Set up crews arrive to breakdown. I gather all personal keepsakes and monetary gifts for Joan and Kevin, package wedding accessories, thank Kevin and Joan for allowing me to b a part of their special day and I'm on my way out.
11:30 Headed home to Douglasville, tired, feet hurt, and I top the night at home with a margarita!!!
Ready for the next event.....bridal make-up for a 9/20/09 wedding.
